先週のお稽古は先輩たちは引き続き茶箱卯の花点前、新人さんたちは千歳盆点前をお稽古しました。
掛物は金魚が涼しそうに泳いでいる画。お菓子は手作りの『茶通』。
千歳盆点前は、裏千家14代淡々斎宗匠の還暦をお祝いして、嘉代子夫人が考案されたものです。これは裏千家独自の盆略点前が基本型ですので、気軽に、あるいは本格的なお茶席でも用いることができます。
千歳盆の中に茶巾と茶筅、茶杓を仕組んだ茶碗、お抹茶を入れた棗と少し小ぶりな古帛紗を左側に二つに折って入れ、それと建水、鉄瓶があればお茶が点てられます。鉄瓶がなければ電気ポットで代用できますので、どこでもいつでも簡単にお茶を点てて召し上がっていただけます。
Third week of July, we practiced chabako unohana demmae. Newly joined students practiced chitose-bon demae.The picture on the scroll was a goldfish, and this day’s sweet was Satsuu, handmade by sensei. Chitose-bon demae was created by Mrs. Kayoko, wife of the 14th Urasenke iemoto Tantan-sai, cerebrating his 60th birthday. This temae is based on the Urasenke’s original bon-demae, a basic simple procedure. We can perform this temae both for casual and formal occasions. Preparation is simple; you put chakin, chasen, chawan with chashaku, small folded kobukusa and natsume inside the chitose-bon. With kensui and iron kettle, you are ready to make tea. If you don’t have an iron kettle, you can substitute with any regular electric kettle. This is the procedure to enjoy tea ceremony with simple tools anytime and anywhere.
