先週のお稽古は小習事16か条の一つ『茶入荘（ちゃいれかざり）風炉点前』でした。茶碗荘、茶筅荘には薄茶と濃茶点前がありますが、茶入荘と茶杓荘は濃茶のみのお点前です。
このお点前をするときは、茶入に何か由緒がある、またはお客様に伝えたい茶入れにまつわる話がある場合などです。
初入りの迎付けの際、床の間に紫の袱紗の上に仕覆に入れた茶入れを荘っておきます。
また、後座の前に、風炉と置き合わせた水指の蓋の右肩に茶杓を載せ、蓋の摘みに茶巾、その上に茶筅をのせます。 水指の前には袱紗の上に載せた仕覆入りの茶入を荘って準備をします。
この荘付けがなんと風流なことでしょう！
これらを見て、連客は今日は茶入荘ということが分かるのです。茶入の由緒は拝見の問答の際に、お正客の方からたずねます。
Last week, we practiced “Chaire Kazari Furo-demae” which is one of the Konaraigoto 16 items.
We can do thick-tea and thin-tea procedure for the Chawan-Kazari and Chasen-Kazari but in case of Chaire- Kazari and Chashaku-Kazari, we do onlythick-tea procedure.When a host shows this procedure at the tea ceremony, she has a story or a episode about the Chaire. A host puts the Chaire into a Shifuku on a folded purple fukusa and places on a alcove in the tearoom at Shoiri. Next preparation is at Goiri. The host puts a Mizusashi next right side of a Furo. On a lid of the Mizusashi, puts a Chasen on a folded Chakin. In front of the Mizusashi, she puts a Teabowl and inside of it there are a folded fukusa and a Chaire with the Shifuku. How elegant these decorations are. They can recognize today’s procedure from these. At the end of the tea ceremony, a main guest asks to the host about the episode of this Chaire in the Haiken conversation.
