ブログへの更新が遅くなってしまいましたが、１１月に京都にいる宗純先生から届いた京都便りです。
毎朝、歩いている東堀川の遊歩道のせせらぎに
ある日、建築物が建ち始めました。
何日か後に京都の建築専門学校の学生たちが文化の日にこのお茶室でお茶を振る舞うという張り紙が貼られていました。
昨日は、東福寺の退耕庵、松尾大社の茶会に参会した後、この茶室に寄らせてもらいました。夕闇迫る手作り茶室でろうそくの灯りの下、川のせせらぎを聞きながら一服のお茶をいただくのも、また、いつもと違った風情がありました。
From Soujun sensei in Kyoto
One day, I saw something was building by the Higashi- Horikawa river where walk every morning. Later, I saw a flyer stating it was going to be a tea house which the students of Architecture College are building in order to serve tea there on National Culture Day, Novernber 4th.
On that day, I attended this unusual Ochakai after attending another formal one at Matuo Taisha, Taiko-An in Tofukuji temple. Listening the murmuring sound of the stream, tea was served in the candlelight at dusk. I really enjoyed the tea in this unique and tasteful setting.
