先日わが家の茶室『純心庵』を訪問された陶芸家がご自身の作品、お抹茶茶碗を１０個置いて行かれました。お抹茶をお茶室で飲まれたのは初めてというのに、抹茶茶碗を製作されているのには驚かせられます。抹茶茶碗にしては多少小さ目のものもありますが、飲み口も丁度良い厚さですし、重すぎずお茶をいただくのには最適の量感です。お値段は$３５〜＄１００です。

A local potter who visited our Junshin-an last month brought and left ten handmade tea bowls. It was surprising that someone who never had matcha tea in a tearoom could make such beautiful tea bowls. Some of his bowls are small, but they are light to hold, and the edge of the bowls is smooth with the right thickness to drink tea. The bowls range in price from $30 to $100.
