毎月一回、日本文化の一つである茶の湯を紹介する趣旨で、JASから依頼を受けて我が家の茶室『純心庵』にて茶の湯イベントを開催しています。
このイベントでは茶の湯の歴史、精神などを学んだあと、実際に茶室で点前を見て、お菓子付きのお抹茶を飲んでいただけます。
6月は父の日の17日に更好棚薄茶風炉点前を披露しました。
床の間にはお客様に少しでも涼しさを感じていただけるように、色鮮やかなカワセミが、青々とした緑のもみじにとまって、川で気持ちよさそうに泳ぐ魚を伺っている様子を描いた日本画の掛物にしました。花は紫の桔梗一輪。ただ今我が家の庭で次から次へと花をつけています。
5名のお客様を迎えてたくさんの質問も出て、終始、和気あいあいとした雰囲気でイベントを終えることができました。
We host a Tea ceremony event once a month at Junshin-an sponsored by JAS in order to introduce Japanese culture.Each experience starts with the history and philosophy of Cha-no-yu (the Art of Tea). Then, guests experience the ceremony in our tea room, drinking tea and tasting Japanese sweets. This month, we demonstrated Koukou-dana furo demae on Father’s day. On the alcove we hung the scroll with a picture of a colorful kingfisher bird perched on a maple tree, facing the fish in the river. The accompanying flower was a balloon flower in full bloom from our Junshin-an garden. There were a lot of questions from the five guests, ending the event with warmth and harmony.
