先週のお稽古は、まだの人は立礼式御薗棚のお稽古を、お茶事の前に立礼式のお稽古を済ませた人は茶箱雪点前のお稽古をしました。お菓子は手作りの『きんつば』です。毎年、茶箱の卯の花、花、月点前まではお稽古をしているのですが、なぜか雪点前は出来ていませんでした。一通りこれらのお稽古をしてくると、使う道具とお道具を置く位置が少しずつ違うだけなので、自然と手が動いて、スムーズにお点前をすることができたようです。茶箱のお点前は、優雅でおままごとのようで女性の生徒さんたちから特に人気があります。
Last week, some students practiced ryurei style with a misono shelf while others performed chabako yuki demae (snow procedure using a tea-box). We did the white flower, moon and cherry blossom with the box series, but missed practicing the snow procedure. So, this week we performed the “snow” procedure. Sweets was hand made “Kintsuba”.
After practicing all three, our hands remembered the timing and proper locations of the tools. Thus, our moves became more natural and flawless even when we learn the new procedure. This tea-box series seems especially popular among female students, being elegant and also reminded our playing house.
