１０月第一週
１０月に入り、茶箱月点前のお稽古を慌ててしました。床の間には菊の花の南画です。義理の叔父藤原りょうざん画です。お花も前日にお華のお稽古で挿した花の残りを飾りました。お軸の菊と重なってしまい、悪い例ですが、庭のお花が皆枯れてしまい、これからの季節、床の間に飾る花を探すのに一苦労です。
It’s already October. We practiced Chabako tsukidemae before it gets too late. I hung the drawing of chrysanthemums by Ryozan Fujiwara, my uncle-in-law. It’s a bad example to have the same flowers in both the scroll and the vase, but it’s getting harder to find any flower in my garden during this colder season.
お菓子は黄昏時に浮かんだ満月をイメージした練り切り。
We served nerikiri (which we named “full moon”), and it was perfect for the moon procedure. We made this treat thinking of the moon at dusk with flying geese.
茶箱点前の中で、最も美しいとされている月点前。通常の茶箱で使用するお道具に仕覆を着せ、掛合、器据、香合、小羽根、火箸、ウグイス、古帛紗等のお道具を使ってのお点前ですので、その分複雑になりますが、すべてのお道具が箱から出され、瓶掛けの前に出そろい、小羽根で模した雲の下に丸い香合のお月様が出て、何とも雅な光景になります。拝見ありの場合も、複雑で大変ですが、その分お稽古をやり終えた後の達成感が心地よいです。
The moon procedure is considered the most beautiful procedure among the tea box series. The placement of the feather and the incense container resembles the cloud and the moon.
Since it is indeed a long and complicated procedure when it includes viewing tools, we feel a kind of accomplishment after we complete this process.
